Sunhills Country Club

A famous designer, Robert Trent Jones Jr. was in charge of the course opened in 1991 on the rolling hills of Utsunomiya City near World Heritage Site Nikko Toshogu. The course consists of 36 holes, East and West course. The view from each hole is wonderful, and the majestic beauty of the mountain stands out. It is designed to allow everyone from beginners to low handicappers to enjoy the fun of strategic and challenging golf course design. Also known as a host course such as the 2007 JGTO Qualifying Tournament and the LPGA Qualification Test. Front 9 of the west course is generally flat, but back 9 is rich in ups and downs. 4H, PAR3 is a famous short hole over the pond with downhill. You shuold attack from the right hand side, avoiding the left bunker. 10H, PAR4 is a dogleg left with downhill, one of the most difficlt hoel since the fairway is quite winding. On the other hand, the East course is tested for various shots and iron accuracy. The front 9 has a long drive that advantageously affects scoring and looks as the champion course, challenging, dfficult but interesting, separated by deep forest. 7H, PAR3 has a large bunker on the left side, often achieved hole-in-one. 13H, PAR4 is dogleg right, having OB zone on the right side, and you should aim at a tree in front. The driving range facilities and the hotel are also well equipped, and a wonderful environment to stay and play golf is prepared.In addition, natural hot spring, the sauna, Jacuzzi and open-air bath are prepared, as well as the main dining area with panoramic views of 180 degrees.
